Vacation Care

We provide Vacation Care during the school holidays in April, July and September / October as well as during the last 2-3 weeks in January, which caters for children attending Normanhurst Public School. Other families whose children do not attend the school may still apply to the Director. Children must be younger than 12 years old and currently attending primary school. Vacation Care is packed with many theme days and activities in centre as well as incursions and excursions. Our program aims to keep your children entertained during the holidays and ensure that they having lots of fun with their friends. Parents are asked to ensure their child brings a hat each day.

Vacation Care Program

Our 2024-2025 Summer Vacation Care program is now available for viewing!

Bookings will open on Friday, 29th November 2024 and can be made via the portal. We look forward to seeing you!

Vacation Care Terms and Conditions

  • Bookings at Early Bird Prices can be made until midnight on Friday, 6th December. Any bookings made after this time, will attract a $7 fee per child, per session.
  • All online bookings must be made by midnight on Tuesday, 10th December
  • Cancellations without costs incurred can be made until midnight Tuesday, 10th December
  • In the case of absence or illness, a medical certificate will be required to waive the fees of the session(s) booked. Medical certificates must be provided within the same week of absence.
  • Once a session is booked to capacity, a waiting list will be formed.
  • If a family cancels their child’s booking after 10th December, NOOSH staff will endeavour to replace the child(s)’s position and fee with any child that may be on the wait list. However, if we are not able to fill your spot you will still be charged if you proceed with the cancellation

Bookings can be made by following the below steps: 
  1. Login to the Portal using your previously supplied username and password
  2. Click on “Parents”, “Bookings” and then “Add/Edit Bookings”.
  3. Navigate to the week you are wanting to make bookings for. This can be done by selecting the calendar or by utilising the arrows to move one week forward/back.
  4. Select the bubble on the day you are wishing to book.
  5. Select from the available activities and then click “Add”.
  6.  Accept any permissions on the confirmation screen and then click “Book Activity”.
  7. This will take you back to the daily view. You can navigate to a different day by utilising the arrows or by clicking done to return you back to the calendar.
  8. Repeat the above steps to book into all the required days. (Please note: The Pupil Free Day can often be found in Week 1 of the following term)
  9. The system will generate a booking confirmation email it will be sent to your nominated email address within 15 minutes. Review your booking confirmation email to ensure the days booked are correct.
  10. Sign and return any waivers, if required.

*If you wish to resend the Vacation Booking Summary, this can be done via the Parents Menu> Bookings> Vacation Care Resend Email option.

Payment: Families on Direct Debit will not need to make this payment- this will be automatically debited at the end of Vacation Care.
