Welcome to NOOSH!

Below is some general information to know about our centre and service. We are here to help so if you have any questions please feel free to get in contact with us!

Program:
Our morning and afternoon sessions consist of a carefully planned program, offering a number of variable activities (including craft, sport & more) as well as the opportunity to have free play.

We do also create a space for any children who feel like they would prefer to have a more quiet, relaxed afternoon; perhaps with a board game or reading a book. Please let your child know that if they are feeling tired after a big day, or a bit overwhelmed, they can come up to any staff member and ask to use this space.

Pick Up & Drop Off:
As you will know, unfortunately we still cannot have parents on site. For pick up and drop off, we will have a staff member situated at the front gate on Normanhurst Road. When you are about 5-10 minutes away from picking up your child in the afternoons, it’s a great idea to send us a text message or give us a call on 0437 712 178 so that we can get them down to the gate for you. Please note that sending a text message is preferable, simply due to the fact that we have such a large number of parents contacting us throughout the afternoon.
If you are unable to send a text, calling is absolutely fine.

 

Bookings/Absences:
We encourage parents to manage their own bookings on the portal (accessed via our website). This includes any changes and absences. To do this, you will need to log into the portal, and go to ‘Parents’ > ‘Bookings’ > ‘Add/Edit’. If your child is going to be absent, simply mark them as ‘Away’. Please try to avoid clicking ‘Cancel Permanent’ as this will cancel your permanent bookings for the year, and it may be difficult to regain your spot.

All changes to your bookings will need to be made about one week in advance. If you need to amend a booking, or mark your child as absent with less than a week’s notice, please give us a call or send us an email so that we can mark that down on our rolls.

Please be aware of our NOOSH Facebook and Instagram pages. We try to put out regular posts with some content of the program activities or the afternoon in general, but we also use these channels to communicate with parents for different sorts of information. Please feel free to add us/follow us!

Introduction Booklet:
Finally, one of our very talented staff members Sofia has created a New to NOOSH Story booklet for all of the kindergarten and new children to read over, giving them a snapshot of the routines we go through at NOOSH. Please feel free to read through it with your child!
